Quality of Life Plan
Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
When our pets are sick, injured, or geriatric, they struggle to keep their comforts until they can’t recover. As “Good Shepherd” caretakers for our pets, it’s our responsibility to relieve pain and suffering.
Palliative care means we treat your pets for comfort and quality. We don’t perform any routine procedures or testing. We want them to keep their routines and available comforts for as long as possible. We will make a personalized plan based upon your pet’s condition and your family’s wishes. This may include:
- Education and management of end-stage disease processes.
- Anxiety and pain recognition with treatment.
- Supplementary nutrition and hydration.
- Digestive and urinary support.
- Management of incontinence.
- Environmental recommendations.
- Mobility support.
- How to know when it’s time to say goodbye, and more.
We are a licensed veterinary facility with experienced doctors and staff. We have our own on-site pharmacy to quickly and conveniently provide the specialized medications needed for your pet.
Comfort Center Home Assistance
If your pet passed on its own at home, we will come and respectfully transport your pet to our Comfort Center for aftercare.
